ADJUSTING YOUR ENGINE COMPUTER FOR HHO USAGE:
An extremely important factor of installing an HHO system on a vehicle is adjusting the engine computer for the use of HHO gas. The vehicle's engine computer (ECM) must be adjusted in order to accept the HHO and to properly adjust the air/fuel ratio. Here's how this works:  for all fuel injected vehicles, it is necessary to make the required adjustments to the ECM by installing an Electric Fuel Injection Enhancer (called EFIE unit for short). Without an EFIE unit, the ECM will detect a higher than normal amount of Oxygen in the exhaust (the "O" atom in HHO). The Oxygen sensor(s) will see this extra Oxygen and will cause the ECM to believe that the engine is running "lean" and so the computer will actually upgrade the fuel output to compensate for this false reading. This will result in more fuel output, and decreased fuel economy. The purpose of the EFIE unit is to "trick" the computer into ignoring this Oxygen and actually cutting back the amount of fuel that the engine is using, in order to allow the HHO to replace a small amount of this fuel and increase the vehicle's fuel economy. If the vehicle is gasoline fuel injected, then you will definitely require an EFIE device.
OUR E.F.I.E. UNITS:
The MOST ADVANCED EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer) Available for use with HHO Fuel Systems to Maximize Your Efficiency Gains.

This chip has been specifically designed for the needs of HHO generator equipped vehicles. The unit is dynamic - which means it will consider oxygen levels in the exhaust, along with engine speed and load, intake air temperature and volume, and many other variables to determine the most efficient fuel delivery rate and timing at up to 256 separate load points.

When using HHO as a fuel supplement, this EFIE will adjust fuel delivery and timing to optimize efficiency.
When HHO is disabled, it will automatically re-adjust and switch to highly efficient, non-HHO enhanced maps.

This is a vehicle specific, custom programmed 20MHz Microcontroller. It utilizes its high speed serial input/output to communicate directly with the ECU through the OBD-II port.

Compatible with factory equipped Turbo/Superchargers, diesel engines, Flex-Fuel, & HHO supplement systems. It is NOT compatible with hybrid engine options, propane, or natural-gas.

Is this the right one for my engine? (SEE BELOW FOR EXACT VEHICLES) - The EFIE has room for up to 8 performance maps, which we use to cover different engine options for a particular vehicle. For example, the 1999 Ford Mustang Chip will be compatible with both the 3.8L V6 and the 4.6L V8. The EFIE will read the first few bytes of data from your ECU during calibration to determine which map to use.
